The Board of Governors of the Achimota School has indicated its preparedness to appeal yesterday’s High Court decision against the school. The case was brought against the school by two persons who had earlier applied to be admitted to the school.
The court ruled that the religious rights of the two applicants had been violated by the school management as they sought to enforce the time -tested and well-known rules of the school.
However, in a statement by the School’s Board of Governors some few hours ago, it disagreed with the Court’s ruling and has communicated its decision to appeal the case.
Attached is a copy of the statement.
