Following the ruling of the Supreme Court for Applicant in the ongoing Election Petition to amend his petition, John Mahama and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Petitioner and 2nd respondent respectively have responded accordingly.

Find attached the amended petition and answer.

Instead of asking for a re-run of the elections between the 2nd respondent and the Petitioner, the NDC candidate inadvertently asked for “second election with Petitioner and 1st Respondent…”

Mr. Mahama’s present action in court follows a petition he filed challenging the Presidential results of the 7th December elections 2020.
